Guidelines for Office Visits for Acupuncture Treatment
Please read prior to scheduling and arrival
Masks will be required for everyone in the office for the entirety of the visit. I too will be masked. Please wear one from home as I will not be able to provide any on site due to limited availability. There can be no exceptions.
Hand Washing is required upon entry.
To avoid cross infection with other patients, sessions will be appropriately spaced.
Entry to the office is on a one-on-one basis. There will be no waiting in the waiting area. Please ring the buzzer upon your arrival to announce yourself and I will come out to open the door for you. For everyone's safety, and to abide by current social distancing requirements, I cannot accommodate early arrival. If you arrive early you can email me or call the landline and if I can admit you, of course, I will be happy to do so, but I cannot guarantee this. I realize this is an inconvenience and appreciate the cooperation as we navigate together the re-opening transition period.
Prescreening for Covid-19 virus status is done via email before appointment. Please respond to the triage email in a timely fashion. Upon on-site arrival you will be required to initial receipt of pre-screening review and Covid-19 specific informed consent, as is strongly suggested by government agencies, and required by my malpractice insurance company.
You will keep your personal valuables with you in treatment room (example: wallet) but everything else will be left in waiting area in a bin and picked up when leaving. The area will be secure, as always, and even more so due to the staggered scheduling and no overlap in session arrivals. Please, bring only what you absolutely need to the office. If you have errands, please do them after your session.
Please bring your own loose shorts and tank tops to provide adequate exposure for treatment areas, garments that can be easily shifted and moved as needed. I will not be able to use washable/reusable linens for draping due to safety precautions.
Check Out: if you bring in cash (preferred) or check please bring it in an unsealed envelope and I will have a drop box for that. I also can accept Venmo now if you prefer "contactless" payment.
Sanitizing the office between each appointment will include high touch areas, individual treatment rooms, tables and any other needed areas. All tables will have single use, disposable only, table paper and pillowcases. Hand sanitizer will be available in all treatment areas.
